2013-2014 is here and the Kiwanis Club Pride of Barbados celebrated the new year in style and a positive Kiwanis spirit. Members and other Kiwanians came together for an evening that was filled with a friendly, fun and loving atmosphere. With a club theme of “Making Our Mark” and a Kiwanis International Theme of"We Build Bridges for Children to the Future" President Marisa was able to reinforce the meaning of these themes through simple yet impactful and memorable activities - We're sure that noone left home expecting to paint a canvas or build a bridge from limited and unusual resources, yet having done so will forever be reminded that Kiwanis is an opportunity to Share Our Talents, Overcome Challenges, Utilise Resources in New and Innovative ways so that as a movement we can effectively serve the children of the world.

Thanks to the Radisson Aquatica Hotel for hosting us, we appreciate it and look forward to visiting more often.
